ATC is an advanced weather monitoring service

The Australian Turf Club (ATC) has confirmed that their Weather Tracker advanced information service will launch this Saturday (August 20) at Randwick and the service will then cover all ongoing meetings at Rosehill and Randwick (with immediate effect).

The service, according to Sky Racing, will be available via a mobile app as well as on the ATC website, broadcast platforms and on-course television, and is designed to provide a range of information related to weather, wind speed… and directional data. , precipitation, humidity and air temperatures. These will be obtained from different information gathering positions at different points on the race track.

Furthermore, a number of information related to the racing surface itself will be associated with this service.

James Ross, General Manager of Racing and Wagering at ATC, provided this overview of the service.

“The ATC Weather Tracker provides instant and accurate information to bettors, owners and customers at the course and ATC members, as well as the entire racing industry at Sydney’s racecourses,” Mr Ross said.

“Bettors can track wind speed, direction and weather conditions from all angles of our racecourses and how they change throughout the day through detailed graphics.
