In a major step forward for our organization, FSB has secured regulatory approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to launch our services in the Canadian province.
Becoming one of the first vendors to receive gaming vendor license recognition in the province, FSB will be ready for a license when Ontario’s online marketplace opens on Monday, April 4.
This significant achievement is another step forward for our North American operations and comes just weeks after the news of a major sports betting contract in South Dakota.
Our award-winning multi-channel sportsbook and comprehensive iCasino aggregation will be available to operator partners in the territory, allowing them to select sports betting and iGaming experiences that suit their target audience. These collaborative relationships will involve a long-term partner Fitzdares who will launch their world-class betting service in the province in the coming weeks.
Dave McDowell, Chief Executive Officer of FSB, said: “This extremely exciting news is an important moment for FSB and adds further fuel to our aggressive, forward-looking momentum in the North American region. AGCO’s pre-market approval is a great tribute to the quality of our technology, services and people as we move forward into globally regulated markets in 2022.”
Bob Akeret, Vice President of North American Operations at FSB, said, “It is an extremely proud moment for our FSB North American team to be one of the first suppliers to receive AGCO certification. Being licensed as a gaming supplier, as the market opens up, puts us in a strong position to play a leading role in Ontario and build further and faster on the strong growth we’ve achieved in North America over the past 12 months. This is an opportunity we can’t wait to take on.”
