Private Eye opened as favorite in the Champions Mile
Private Eye in very good form is favorite at ladbrokes.com.au for the Champions Mile (1600m) this Saturday at Flemington.
The Joe Pride-trained gelding has been a revelation this time and was excellent when winning the Nature Strip over 1300m last Saturday. He is the clear favorite, sitting at $3.10.
My Oberon, a sharp Australian debut winner in the Crystal Mile, is on the second line of betting at $4.20, outside Cascadian at $5.50.
Toorak Tuvalu winner is rock solid at $12.
